Thank you for choosing Sensio Air V3, the first allergen tracker capable of identifying allergens in the air. This user manual is designed to help you get the most out of your Sensio Air V3. Please read it carefully before using your device.

1. Caution: Important Safety Information

To ensure your safety and maintain the integrity of the device's protection features, please adhere to the following guidelines:

Indoor Use Only: This device is designed for indoor use only. Exposing it to outdoor conditions, including direct sunlight, rain, or extreme temperatures, may impair its safety features, leading to potential hazards.

Avoid Hazardous Conditions: Do not operate or leave the device unattended in environments that could present a hazard, such as near water, in areas with flammable gases or dust, or in any location where the device may be exposed to risks of damage or interference.

Maintain Safe Distance: Keep a minimum distance of 20cm (approximately 8 inches) between the device and your body during operation. This precaution helps prevent potential harm caused by exposure to radio frequency emissions and ensures the device operates within the safety parameters set by regulatory standards.

Failure to follow these instructions could impair the device’s protective features, leading to increased risk of injury, device malfunction, or damage. Always operate the device in accordance with these guidelines to ensure your safety and the longevity of the device.

2. System Requirements

To use Sensio Air V3, you will need:

- A 2.4 GHz WPA2 WiFi network

- The Sensio Air mobile application, available for iOS or a web browser

4. Setting Up Your Device

Place your device far from any natural or artificial light source. If you have overhead lights, please make sure the device is placed at least 120cm (about 4 feet) away from them.
Direct sunlight and artificial light sources will interfere with the sensor's accuracy. 

  1. Plug the device using the provided cable and USB socket. If the device is properly powered, you should see the LED turn blue.
  2. Remove the 'peel' sticker atop the device. Do not touch or wipe the sensor surface.

5. Connecting Your Device

 To connect your indoor device to the app, you must have been granted special permission by sending the email you registered with to support@wlab.io

Using the Sensio Air mobile application:

Before starting, please make sure that you have:
- a strong internet connection
- you know the username/password of your WiFi network

- you have downloaded the Sensio Air App for iPhone

Step 1 - In your phone WiFi setting, select the network called “SensioAir”. This network does not require a password

Step 2 - Go to the Sensio Air mobile app and tap “Add device” then  “Next Step”. 

Step 3 - In the Configure WiFi window, tap on the arrow and select the new WiFi network you wish the device to connect to from the scroll list. Enter your WiFi network password. Pay extra attention while typing as it must match exactly the password (case sensitive). Tap on Submit.

Step 4 - Wait for a few seconds, the device will boot and the LED should change from solid purple (booting), to blinking yellow (connecting). Once the device is connected, it will then change to solid green (connected) or solid yellow (connected with an unstable connection).

Using a web browser:

Step 1 - Connect your computer to the "Sensio Air" WiFi network.

Step 2 - Using your regular browser, enter the following IP address in the browser bar: "192.168.1.1". 

Step 3 - On the website, you will see a list of all the detected WiFi networks. Please select the desired network, enter the password and click “Connect”.

Step 4 - Wait for a few seconds, the device will boot and the LED will change from solid purple (booting), to blinking yellow (connecting). Once the device is connected, it will change to solid green (connected) or solid yellow (connected with an unstable connection).

Resetting the WiFi credentials:

To reset and forget the WiFi credential stored on the device, press the button on the right side of the USB socket when plugging the USB cable in. The device LED will emit a blue light indicating it is ready to accept new connections.

7. Maintenance

After extensive use, the sensor’s collection plate may become dirty. This can affect the accuracy of particle analysis. When the mobile application or dashboard indicates it’s time for cleaning, please use a gas duster or canned air (typically used for electronic devices) to clean the surface. Hold the nozzle about 1 inch (3 cm) from the surface, and carefully spray for a few seconds to clean the collection plate.

8. Troubleshooting

The device does not power/ the LED is off.

Please ensure that you are only using the cable and adaptor provided with the unit. If you are using a power bank or alternative equipment this will damage the device.

The "sensioair" WiFI network does not show or does not connect.

Some networks will take up to 30 seconds to show on your phone or computer. If the LED is green or yellow, this means that the device is already configured to connect to a WiFi network.

For some operating systems, make sure to confirm the connection to the "sensioair" network when your phone informs you that it does not have a working internet connection.

The device does not connect to my WiFi network.

Please make sure that you have a confirmation message when you input your username and password.

Please note that the unit does not support 5GHz network, make sure that you use a 2.4GHz network.
If your Network name has special characters like +, %, | or other characters not compliant with syntax rules for network names you might want to check this link in order to input the credentials correctly.

The white LEDs around the sensor are always shining.

If you encounter this situation, simply unplug the device and plug it in again.

9. Legal Notices

Please be aware of the legal notices and conditions provided by WLAB LTD regarding the proper and safe handling of the Sensio Air V3. Adherence to these notices is essential for ensuring the safety and effectiveness of your device.


Please note that all units are fitted with anti-tamper stickers. Tampering with or attempting to reverse engineer the device may result in legal consequences. Sensio Air is a registered trademark, and both the hardware and software are patent protected.

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

Any Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.

Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

-Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

-Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.

-Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.

-Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
